Tree Removal in Murray, KY

Dead, leaning, storm-cracked or just too close to the house. Taken down in controlled pieces and hauled away.

Tree Removal

Every removal starts with where it lands.

Most trees around Murray don’t have open ground on every side.

They stand over roofs, fences, driveways, gardens and service lines, so the real work is deciding how each piece comes down.

Before the first cut, we look at the lean, the condition of the wood and what is underneath. Then we pick the method.

In the open, a tree can be felled in one piece.

Near a house it is taken apart from the top, limb by limb, from a climbing line, a bucket truck or a tracked spider lift.

When there is nowhere safe to drop anything, the crane holds each section while it is cut and sets it down in the yard.

What we look for

When a tree should come out

  • Dead or dying

No leaves in season, bark falling off, fungus at the base.

  • Leaning toward the house

Especially a lean that is new, or soil heaving on the far side.

  • Storm-damaged

Split trunks and snapped tops from wind, ice or a tornado.

  • Diseased

Trees with fungus or rot that are past saving.

  • In the way

Crowding the house, lifting a drive, or standing where you want to build.

How we do it

Crane removals for the biggest trees.

For a big tree in a tight yard, the crane is the safest tool we own.

It lifts each section off the tree and sets it down where the crew can cut it up, so nothing swings toward the house.

Heavy wood is carried out with a grapple loader instead of dragged across the lawn.

Brush goes through the chipper, and the site is raked clean before we leave.

Want the stump gone too? Add stump grinding to the estimate and it can be ground below the surface.

How much does tree removal cost?

It depends on the size of the tree, its condition and what is under it.

The estimate is free, so call and we will come price it.

Do you haul everything away?

Yes. Brush is chipped and wood is hauled off or cut for firewood, and the site is left clear of debris.

Can you remove a tree that hangs over my roof?

Yes. It comes down in sections from the top, by rope, bucket or crane, so nothing drops on the house.
